In Canada, personal data is notably protected by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) at the federal level for the private sector, as well as by the Privacy Act for federal institutions.
Depending on the provinces, equivalent provincial laws also apply, such as Bill 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector) in Quebec, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) in British Columbia and Alberta, or specific laws for the health sector.
When using the Folorenza website, the following may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user accessed the Folorenza website, the user's internet service provider, the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
In any case, Folorenza only collects personal information about the user for the needs of certain services offered by the Folorenza website. No personal information of the user of the Folorenza website is published without the user's knowledge, exchanged, transferred, assigned, or sold on any medium whatsoever to third parties.
